Since previously communicated (MC275345 – Sept 2021), we have updated the people-centric search rollout timeline below. After the gradual rollout began in December, we have worked to improve your experience around finding content through people and understanding people through their content by offering greater consistency and reliability in SharePoint and Office.com.
This feature update introduces a new site script action that expands the features of custom site templates to allow you to add the ability to sync content types from a content type hub to a specific site.
Note: To take advantage of this update, and to use the content type hub sync site script action, the respective SharePoint site must have the taxonomy feature activated.
You can personalize a list to suit your needs by customizing the command bar. Like how you can customize form headers and footers, the JSON based feature will allow basic changes to the command bar, including modification of icon or text, hiding existing options or adding new commands.
This new feature update will enable users to edit (crop/rotate, adjust, filter and markup) their HEIC (High Efficiency Image Format) files through the Edit HVC. After editing the image, if the user wishes to save the changes, the file will be copied as a new jpg file.

We are announcing the upcoming release of Connected Templates with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint. The connected templates will offer a new way of combining Microsoft Teams templates with SharePoint templates. Prior to this integration, clients needed to deploy Microsoft Teams or SharePoint-specific templates.
When you add a new section to a page, you can select a blank template with popular image and text combinations for a quick start.
