Microsoft Syntex: Prebuilt model for contracts

We will soon add a new prebuilt model to Microsoft Syntex, which can be used to analyze contracts and extract common entities.

This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 124814

When this will happen:

We will begin rolling out in late April and expect to complete rollout by late May.

How this will affect your organization:

Users will see a new option when creating models for “Contract Processing”.

Users will then be able to upload sample contracts to select the entities they wish to extract.

The model can then be published to a document library to process contracts and automatically generate metadata.

Before this update, the only option that a user would have in Syntex to process a contract, would be to use a custom model.

What you need to do to prepare:

You may want to notify users about this new capability and update your training and documentation as appropriate.
