Microsoft Teams: Microsoft Copilot in meetings will suggest follow-up questions
Coming soon to Microsoft Teams: When Microsoft Copilot in Teams meetings responds to a prompt, Copilot will also suggest follow-up questions to keep the conversation going. The follow-up questions will typically be based on Copilot’s prior responses, such as asking for more details or asking what a specific person said about the topic in the meeting. This message applies to Teams for Windows desktop and Teams for Mac desktop. A Microsoft 365 Copilot license is required to use this feature.

When this will happen:
General Availability (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out by early March 2025 and expect to complete by mid-March 2025.
How this will affect your organization:
Users will be able to see follow-up questions right above the Copilot chat box. When a user selects a follow-up question, the question is sent to Copilot, like any other prompt:

What you need to do to prepare:
This rollout will happen automatically by the specified date with no admin action required before the rollout. Review your current configuration to determine the impact for your organization. You may want to notify your users about this change and update any relevant documentation.
