Microsoft Viva: Official Communities Discovery and Filter

In Microsoft Viva, Official Communities, verified by Engage admins, will be more discoverable on the Communities discovery page and can be filtered on the View all Communities page. This feature, associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 396722, will roll out in June 2024.

In Microsoft Viva, Official Communities will be discoverable on the Communities discovery page. Employees can now browse for communities that are marked as “Official” by the Engage admins. Official Communities are Communities that are verified by Engage admins. Employees can also filter for Official Communities in the View all Communities page.

With the ability to filter for Official Communities, these communities will now have increased discoverability. You can expect more views and visits, and therefore more engagement on these communities.
