Microsoft Viva: Tenant-wide notification settings moving to Viva Engage Admin center

We are modernizing the existing admin notification settings in Viva Engage to make admin notification settings and configuration more user-friendly and intuitive within Viva Engage. Previously, the tenant-wide notifications settings for admin configuration opened in legacy web pages. With this update, these notification settings will now appear under Viva Engage Admin center > Tenant settings.

This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 472925.

When this will happen:

General Availability (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out in late February 2025 and expect to complete by mid-March 2025.

How this will affect your organization:

  • Administrators will gain the ability to manage admin notifications directly from within the Engage Admin center.
  • All existing tenant admin notification preferences will remain unchanged, and the current tenant preferences for these two settings will continue to be respected.
  • Improved guidance and labels covering each available setting will be provided, making the process more intuitive than before.
