Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android IT admins can choose the default meeting layout. When a meeting begins, room users will see the default meeting layout. They can switch to other views using the view switcher during a meeting.

Announcing the Semantic Index for Copilot

Today we announced Semantic Index for Copilot – a new capability in Microsoft 365 E3 and E5. A core part of the Copilot System, the Semantic Index is a map of your individual and company data. It is a foundational capability for Microsoft 365 Copilot, and will enhance enterprise search results for Microsoft 365 E3 and E5 – whether customers are using Copilot or not. Semantic Index for Copilot will start rolling out later this calendar year for Microsoft 365 E3 and E5 customers.

With this release, Users especially non OKR owners will land on their activity feed page that is prioritized with updates from leaders, people they work with regularly and OKRs that are relevant to help them stay informed on the status, progress, comments/reactions from people of the goals they care about. Microsoft Intune: iOS ADE enrollment

When enrolling corporate Apple devices with ADE (setup assistant with Modern Auth), admins want to ensure that device config policies and apps (macOS only) are on the device prior to the device being released from SA for the IW to freely use. This can be accomplished though Apple MDM Command called AwaitingConfiguration. This item delivers this Apple MDM command to iOS and ipadOS devices using ADE.

Microsoft Stream: Playlists in the SharePoint List webpart

This feature will allow you to display playlists on SharePoint pages using the List webpart. The playlist will display video titles and thumbnails, and people with access to files in the playlist can click on the thumbnails to view the videos.

Microsoft Teams: New ‘Sync device buttons’ setting

The new Sync device buttons toggle available under your Teams Desktop client Settings (Devices tab) allows users to disable the syncing between their device controls and with Teams. The purpose of this feature is to offer an option for end users to disable the syncing of their connected Peripherals with the Teams Desktop client to allow for co-existence scenarios with other HID-enabled or speech-recognition apps.
