Office app on mobile is launching Activity Center on iPads and tablets to enable users to stay on top of all their required activity and notifications.

When this will happen:

We will begin rolling out in late March and expect the rollout to be completed by mid-April.

How this will affect your organization:

On the office mobile apps on iPads and Tablets, users will start seeing a bell icon. Clicking on this icon would open up the Activity Center housing all of user’s activity and notifications. As new capabilities get introduced in the Office app, and there is more activity in a user’s network that might need their attention, they will also start appearing in the Activity Center in the coming months.

What you need to do to prepare:

No preparation is needed. You may want to update your documentation as necessary.
