New onboarding script for macOS

Upcoming, Python will no longer be on macOS version 12.3. Because of this, we are updating our onboarding scripts for macOS and Linux to run over Bash instead of running over Python.

Note: If your users have already been onboarded with a Python script, they do not need to be re-onboarded.

Update Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and MDM policy to newest version

We want to let you know that running very old versions of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE) can result in an invalid agent state and loss of protection. Mobile device management (MDM) previously configured to deploy very old MDE version may expose your organization to the risk of the invalid agent state and protection loss.

If you do not have macOS and Linux devices in your environments, you can disregard this message.

Unlimited audio upload minutes for web transcription on Microsoft Word

Now your organization can transcribe unlimited minutes of uploaded audio using Word for the web transcription. Previously, the limit was 300 minutes per month per user. There’s been no change for live recordings; you can still transcribe unlimited minutes of live recordings.
