New Outlook for Mac Preview becomes the default experience in the Preview Channel

With usage growing daily in our preview experience, we are rolling out Outlook for Mac to Preview Channel as the default experience for any user who has never tried the new experience. The default-on Outlook toggle provides access to enhanced performance and user experience across Mail, Calendar, People, and Search.

We announced the toggle in July, 2020 (MC219576).

Connector results in All tab in SharePoint, Office.com and MSB

With Graph connectors result clusters, enterprises can search for content from third party connector data sources in their default view, the All tab, in SharePoint, Office.com, and Microsoft Search in Bing. The results shown in a result cluster are grouped together based on the search vertical configuration.

New Azure AD built-in roles – Knowledge Admin, Knowledge Manager and Exchange Recipient Admin

We have created 3 new built-in roles in Azure AD for you to manage Microsoft Viva Topics and Exchange Online admin settings.

• Knowledge Admin – Users in this role have full access to all knowledge, learning and intelligent features settings in the Microsoft 365 admin center.
• Knowledge Manager – Users in this role can create and manage content, like topics and acronyms. These users are primarily responsible for the quality and structure of knowledge.
• Exchange Recipient Admin – Users with this role have read access to recipients and write access to the attributes of those recipients in Exchange Online.

Outlook mobile clients will soon provide access to delegate mailboxes

Your end users will soon be able to add and remove delegates from within Outlook for iOS and Outlook for Android. Delegates will be able to access those mailboxes on their mobile app as well.
