New in communication compliance: translate content during investigation

We are introducing translation to Communication Compliance policies and investigations.

This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 68130.

When this will happen

Rollout will begin mid-February and is expected to be complete by the end of March 2021.

How this will affect your organization

Microsoft Translator will soon be able to automatically translate Communication Compliance messages that are not in the investigator’s preferred language. See the list of languages supported by Microsoft Translator.

What you need to do to prepare

By default, global administrators do not have access to Communication Compliance features. To enable permissions for Communication Compliance features, see Make Communication Compliance available in your organization.

You might want to notify appropriate users about this new capability and update your training and documentation as needed.
