Microsoft PowerPoint: Microsoft 365 Copilot can convert text to bullet points or a list
Microsoft PowerPoint will soon allow users to convert text to bullet points or numbered lists using Microsoft 365 Copilot. Initially requiring a Copilot license, this feature will be available to all Microsoft 365 licenses by mid-May 2025. The rollout requires no admin action and will be on by default.

Coming soon: Microsoft PowerPoint will soon offer text editing with Microsoft Copilot, where users can ask Copilot to convert their paragraphs of text to bullet points or numbered lists.
A Microsoft 365 Copilot license is currently required to access this feature. We plan to make this feature available to all Microsoft 365 licenses soon.

When this will happen:
General Availability (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out late March 2025 and expect to complete by mid-May 2025.
How this will affect your organization:
To access this feature in a saved PowerPoint presentation, users can select the entire block of text, select the Copilot icon next to that text, and then choose Visualize as a list:
This feature will be on by default.
What you need to do to prepare:
This rollout will happen automatically by the specified dates with no admin action required before the rollout. You may want to notify your users about this change and update any relevant documentation.
