Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Policy sync status on Purview portal

The Policy Sync Status feature in the Microsoft Purview compliance portal allows solution admins to see the sync status of policies directly from the Policies and Reports pages. It applies to various policy types and will be available in Public Preview in mid-April 2025 and General Availability in mid-May 2025. No prerequisites are required.

The Policy Sync Status feature enables solution admins to know the policy sync status directly from the solution Policies page and Reports page in the Purview portal. When a policy is created or updated by a user, the changes are distributed to the data sources selected. This feature will give users insight into whether the policy changes have reached the target data sources. This policy sync status feature is available for Data Loss Prevention (excluding endpoint policies), Information Protection, Data Loss Management, Records Management, and Information Barriers.
