Microsoft Teams: Pop out meeting window on iPad

Microsoft Teams will enable iPad users to pop out meeting windows into separate Teams windows starting October 2025. Introduction:

To support multitasking during meetings, Microsoft Teams is introducing the ability for users on iPad to pop out their meeting window into a separate Teams window. This enhancement aligns with customer feedback requesting more flexible meeting experiences on mobile devices.

When this will happen:

General Availability (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out early October 2025 and expect to complete by mid-October 2025.

General Availability (GCC, GCC High and DoD): We will begin rolling out mid-October 2025 and expect to complete by late October 2025.

Who is affected: All users who join Microsoft Teams meetings using iPads.

What will happen:
