Microsoft Copilot Notebooks will be available to 13–17 year-olds with Microsoft 365 Copilot plans and Entra ID accounts starting mid-November 2025. The feature will be on by default across supported platforms, with admin policies and Cloud Policy controls applicable for managing access.

  • Who is affected: Organizations with 13–17 year-old users (e.g., students) who have Microsoft 365 Copilot plans and Entra ID accounts.
  • What will happen:
    • Copilot Notebooks will become available to eligible 13–17 year-old users.
    • The feature will be accessible in the Microsoft 365 Copilot app and OneNote app across Web, Windows, Mac, iOS, iPadOS, and Android.
    • By default, the feature will be ON for all eligible users.
    • Existing admin policies will continue to apply.
    • Admins can restrict access using Cloud Policy.
