Excel Trust Center: new option to block Excel 4.0 (XLM) macros

We are introducing a new Excel Trust Center setting to further restrict the usage of Excel 4.0 (XLM) macros. As part of this rollout, a registry key is being retired, and a group setting is being renamed.

Changes to Microsoft To Do Support Experience

We have made some changes to the support experience on Microsoft To Do. On the Android, iOS, Web and Windows apps while the experience remains the same, we have made a few changes to the Support module that will require the app to be updated.

On MacOS we will no longer support the in-app chat experience to raise support tickets. Instead, on Mac, clicking on “Get support” from “Help” will open a webpage from where support tickets can be raised.

Announcing Conglomerate branding for global admins

Up Close Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime to be installed on devices running Microsoft 365 Apps

Microsoft 365 Apps is starting to provide new or improved features that rely on Microsoft Edge WebView2. For example, the Room Finder and the Meeting Insights features in Outlook. WebView2 uses Microsoft Edge as a rendering engine to display web-based features in a desktop application.

By making use of WebView2, we can more easily provide your users with Office features that look and feel the same across device platforms. In turn, this consistent experience helps your users to learn and use those features without having to learn the nuances of Office on each device platform.

New bank accounts are no longer supported in US/France/Italy/Spain/Belgium/Portugal/Luxembourg

Note: If your tenant is outside US/France/Italy/Spain/Belgium/Portugal/Luxembourg you can disregard this message.

We are phasing out bank accounts as a payment method from all portals including Microsoft 365 admin center. Beginning January 26, 2021, you can no longer add a new bank account or modify an existing bank account payment method. You may continue paying for Microsoft Services with an existing Bank Account that is in good standing.
