Add topics to chat messages and display topic cards in Microsoft Teams.
With this update, topic editors can now pin files/pages to a topic page by searching for it in the resource picker.
This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 88852.
The Topic card will now expand to read longer descriptions, show the job title for contacts, and navigate in-context with the Live Persona Card. These improvements will help users stay in-context with their flow of work.
Features coming to the Topic card:
We’re integrating all stages of topic lifecycles into a unified list with filtering and sorting my lifecycle stage and other data. Combined with search, this will help you find specific topics when the volume of topics in the system is large.
Profile cards displayed through Outlook will display Topics associated to an individual.
Transparency through analytics on topic discovery for organizations (Stage 1) to support ROI and understanding of progress of topic discovery.
AI suggests relationships between topics, and the topic page and card reflects these connections in the knowledge graph (first degree).
You’ll be able to sort ad filter on additional usage data in the topic center, including metrics, usage, quality, and more.
