DLP-Update to Content Explorer to limit visibility of sensitive information to Data Classification Content Viewer role
The message informs about an update to Content Explorer, restricting visibility of sensitive information to users with the “Data Classification Content Viewers” role. This change will take effect in early July 2024 and requires no action from the organization to prepare.
We have made changes in Content Explorer list page, so that only the user with “Data Classification Content Viewers” role can view sensitive information in the Content Explorer list page

How this will affect your organization:
For Exchange items, only “Data Classification Content Viewers” role can view the email subject under the Name column.
For Teams items, the Name column will be empty. User with appropriate role can see more details by clicking on the item
What you need to do to prepare:
You don’t need to make any changes.
