Empty Recycle bin for Stream(Classic) video admins
The Stream administrator can now empty the admin center recycle bin in one go to free up storage. The admins have a choice to either purge the entire recycle bin or remove the files that they have put in the recycle bin.
This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 85669.
When this will happen:
We expect this rollout to begin in early November and expect the rollout to be completed by mid-November.
How this will affect your organization:
The stream admins can now permanently remove videos in bulk from the recycle bin. This will allow admins to clear up storage immediately rather than wait for the recycle bin to auto empty or delete videos from the recycle bin one at a time which was the only way to do so in the past.
What you need to do to prepare:
No action required. You may want to update your documentation as needed.
