Mesh enables you to create custom, shared immersive experiences that are tailored to your specific business needs. Harness the power of Microsoft Mesh to build virtual environments that replicate physical space, visualize data that’s critical to your business, build immersive simulations and training for your business, and more.

Here’s what you need to know:

• Microsoft Mesh allows you to create and customize shared immersive event experiences tailored to your specific business scenarios with a set of basic capabilities. 
• Mesh toolkit enables creators and developers to build fully customized 3D experiences with Unity.

When this will happen:

Preview: This rolled out in October 2023.

Standard Release: We will begin rolling out early January 2024 and expect to complete by late January 2024.

How this will affect your organization:

Hardware requirements

This is available through the Mesh app via Windows PC and Meta Quest 2 VR devices.

For experiences built with Microsoft’s provided environments, the PC requires 4 cores and 8 GB RAM.

License Requirement 

Microsoft Mesh can be enabled via the Microsoft 365 Admin Center for users with Teams Premium licenses.
