Microsoft Search in Bing configuration renamed to Microsoft Search and Microsoft 365 Chat in Bing

The Microsoft Search in Bing configuration setting on the Search & Intelligence portal within the Microsoft 365 Admin Center will be renamed to: Microsoft Search and Microsoft 365 Chat in Bing.

When will this happen: 

The new name will roll out in mid-November 2023. 

How will this affect your organization: 

Admins who wish to configure Microsoft Search in Bing in the Search & Intelligence portal will see the new name: Microsoft Search and Microsoft 365 Chat in Bing. 

Disabling this toggle will disable Microsoft Search in Bing and Microsoft 365 Chat in Bing on bing.com and in Bing-powered entry points like the Microsoft Edge sidebar and the Edge mobile app. 

What you need to do to prepare: 

There is no action required at this time.
