New Dedicated Copilot Chat Button in Outlook for Android
Outlook for Android will have a new, separate Copilot Chat button for users with a M365 Copilot license, improving access and clarity. The rollout starts and completes in early December 2025. No functionality changes or admin actions are needed, but helpdesk and documentation updates are recommended.

We are updating the user interface (UI) for Copilot Chat in Outlook for Android so that the button is separate from the mail compose, event compose, and add a contact button. This feature will be available for users with a M365 Copilot license.
When this will happen:
General Availability (Worldwide, GCC, GCC High, DoD): Rollout will begin in early December 2025 and is expected to complete in early December 2025.
