When will this happen:

The planned maintenance will take place beginning on April 7th and complete

How will this affect your organization:

We are updating the dynamic membership rule of two Entra groups and two Intune filters to include Windows 11 24H2 devices and limit Windows 10 devices to versions newer than 1809. This update is required since Windows 11 24H2 start with a new build number (10.0.26).

Summary of changes:

  • The Entra group “Modern Workplace Devices Dynamic – Windows 11” will now also include Windows 11 24H2 devices.
  • The Entra group “Modern Workplace Devices Dynamic – Windows 10” will now only include Windows 10 devices back to (not including) version 1809.
  • The two Intune filters “Modern Workplace – Windows 11 Filter” and “Modern Workplace Security Baseline – Windows 11 Filter” will now also include Windows 11 24H2 devices.

What you need to do to prepare:

No action is required. If you have any questions or concerns, or need assistance, file a service request by visiting the Microsoft Intune admin center.
