Power Automate – Enable endpoint filtering for secure UI automation
We are announcing the ability to enable endpoint filtering for secure UI automation in Power Automate. This feature enables you to specify which applications and websites your automation scripts can interact with, ensuring precise and enhanced security. This feature will reach general availability on June 17, 2025.

How does this affect me?
Endpoint filtering in Power Automate desktop offers an added layer of control and security for your automation tasks. As an admin, apply endpoint filtering using the existing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) feature in Power Automate. Create an allow list of applications and websites that your automation scripts can interact with, or a deny list of those that should be restricted.
This feature targets UI and Browser automation actions, ensuring that your automation adheres to your organization’s policies. Endpoint filtering is checked the same way DLP policies are currently verified in Power Automate for desktop. Leverage endpoint filtering to tightly manage which endpoints are accessible, enhancing the precision and security of your automation workflows.
