We have added new capabilities to the Microsoft Viva Insights Admin center that will make it easier to assign leaders access, measure adoption, and stay informed of key updates.
When this will happen:
Privileged Access Management (PAM) for Microsoft Graph Data Connect (MGDC) will be retired – all tenants must use the new MGDC onboarding experience after this date. If your tenant is already using the new onboarding experience, you may disregard this message.
We’ve released updates to the following update channels for Microsoft 365 Apps:
An organization’s Global Admin is set by default as the Microsoft Viva Glint Admin, but they likely are not the ones using the platform. They need the ability to assign the correct person as their organization’s Viva Glint Admin and remove themselves.
Viva Glint (Service) administrators can now be assigned through the Microsoft 365 Admin Center (MAC) in addition to being able to setup within the Viva Glint product. There will not be changes to existing user roles.
In Microsoft 365 apps for the web, users can see their tasks in a grid view and can update details inline in To Do on web and To Do app inside Microsoft Outlook.

We will be retiring the ‘suggested tasks’ insight type which may appear on profile cards on Teams and Outlook
As part of the broader effort to bring Microsoft 365 apps and service onto the single cloud.microsoft domain, you can now access Viva Goals with a new URL: goals.cloud.microsoft.
Admins can manage add-ins across Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint from the Integrated Apps blade in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center. This capability is currently available to Global Administrators, Global Readers, Exchange Administrators, and Azure Application Administrators.
