Unblock Copilot by switching into and enabling Cloud updates for Current channel in Microsoft 365 Apps Admin Center

New capabilities coming soon to Microsoft 365 Apps admin center to help Admins unblock access to Microsoft 365 Copilot on licensed devices! Now Admins can activate Current Channel Profiles in Cloud Updates and switch Update Channels for their Devices or AAD Groups in Inventory.

Outlook: New Feedback Experience Update

The feedback entry point for Outlook for Web will be moving from the bottom of the Help pane to the Help tab of the ribbon, for ease of discovery. A streamlined experience, diagnostics log collection and the ability to add screenshots and video make it easier and quicker for users to describe their feedback and helps Microsoft act on it. Users can also search for information related to their feedback, including updates on features under development, workarounds for problems and how-to from Help. This change obeys the general Feedback policy.

Dictation Support Coming to the New Outlook

Outlook on the Web: Meeting Participants Time-Zone Notification

To facilitate efficient scheduling and awareness of global time zones, Outlook will help meeting organizers find overlapping times across global time zones. This will help enable seamless collaboration among team members dispersed across global locales.

We initially rolled this feature out in September and based on your feedback we are making additional enhancements that we want to make you aware of.

Loop workspaces will start counting towards tenant storage quotas

Loop is a new app that enables your teams to think, plan, and create together like never before.

During the Loop app Public Preview, Loop workspaces were not counted towards your tenant’s storage quota. As the Loop app exits Public Preview, workspaces will start counting towards your tenant’s storage quota.

Windows Autopatch availability within Microsoft Intune Admin Center

Windows Autopatch will be available as an additional option in Microsoft Intune admin center. You may enroll into Windows Autopatch and register any devices not currently under management by Microsoft Managed Desktop. We do not currently support devices included in both Windows Autopatch and Microsoft Managed Desktop services.

Files Hub retiring from the new Outlook for Windows

We will be retiring the Files Hub from the new Outlook for windows starting mid- October 2023. The Files Hub is a location where all attachments and files received by a user are aggregated and can be accessed through the paperclip icon from the leftmost vertical app bar in the new Outlook for windows.
