New Sensitivity Labeling Bar in Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise

For organizations who rely on sensitivity labels from Microsoft Purview to protect their documents, a new feature is rolling out that makes it easier for end users to see or change sensitivity labels for files and emails in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook on PC.

The new sensitivity bar is conveniently located in your document’s name or your email’s subject line, making it easier to stay aware of your content’s sensitivity. This bar provides an at-a-glance, familiar, and actionable indicator of the content’s sensitivity label.

Service Health Integration for the Microsoft 365 Support Integration app in ServiceNow

Microsoft 365 support integration app for ServiceNow, enables you to integrate Microsoft 365 service health and support with ServiceNow. You can research Microsoft known and reported issues, resolve incidents, and complete tasks using Microsoft recommended solutions and if necessary, escalate to Microsoft support agents.

In the latest update (version 2.1) to the app, we have introduced a feature that allows customers to configure the app to create ServiceNow incidents whenever Microsoft generates a service health incident.

Microsoft Defender for Office 365: Built-in Protection Time of Click URL Email Protection

Last year, we enabled Built-in-Protection in Defender for Office 365 by default for all new and existing Defender for Office 365 customers. Specifically, it added a base level of Safe Links and Safe Attachment protections – delivery time file and URL detonation as well as time of click protection across email, Teams, and Office workloads.

We are now enabling the final remaining aspect of the built-in protection policy: SafeLinks URL time of click email protections.
