URLs for deployment configurations will be retired

Direct URL access to deployment configurations in the Microsoft 365 Apps Admin Center will be retired between late September and early October 2024. Organizations using this service must download configurations to use with the Office Deployment Tool.

Microsoft Graph API is generally available in v1.0 to manage username, group names, and site names

The message details the general availability of Microsoft Graph API v1.0 for managing names and the upcoming release of two APIs for updating and getting admin report settings. Rollout starts early August 2024, with completion by mid-August. Global admins can change name display settings in the Microsoft 365 admin center. No action is required before the rollout.

Admin policy to migrate users from classic Outlook to new Outlook for Windows

Microsoft changed the minimum iOS system requirements for Outlook for iOS

Outlook for iOS will soon require iOS 17 as the minimum system requirement, dropping support for iOS 16 once iOS 18 is released. Users on iOS 16 will not receive updates and may eventually lose synchronization capabilities. It’s recommended to update devices and inform users about these changes.
