Virtual appointments analytics reports converting to be Teams premium functionality

We are excited to announce the upcoming launch of the new webinar experience. This experience is an intuitive end-to-end webinar solution addressing key feedback received since the initial webinar launch last year and is built to scale for advanced webinars in the future. The new webinar will be found by clicking the New Meeting dropdown in the calendar app and selecting Webinar.
With the launch of the new webinar experience, we are introducing a new policy called Teams Event Policy to TAP IT Admins and TAP customers. This policy (Settings: AllowWebinars and EventAccessType) will control the new webinar experience, and the current webinar experience will be controlled by the existing Teams Meeting Policy (Settings: AllowMeetingRegistration and WhoCanRegister). As we make this transition from the current and existing webinar experience to a new one, we are giving you the option to either use the new, current/existing, or no webinar experience. When we launch the new webinar experience, this experience will by default be ON (AllowWebinars: ON).

Advanced Virtual Appointments in Teams Premium provides an end-to-end solution designed to help you drive better customer experiences and operational excellence for business-to-customer engagements.

When a deck is presented via PowerPoint Live in a Microsoft Teams meeting, all meeting attendees can use the Magnify Slide feature to privately zoom into the presentation while maintaining full fidelity of the slide content. When a meeting attendee magnifies a slide, it doesn’t change how the presenter or the other meeting attendees view the slides. The “Sync to presenter” button will also appear, which allows the meeting attendee to resume following the presenter. When the meeting presenter uses the Magnify Slide feature, the zoomed in presentation content is displayed to all meeting attendees to see and follow along. The initial roll out of Magnify slide in PowerPoint Live will only be available for Microsoft Teams Desktop.

Users will now be able to upload documents from OneDrive for Business when creating an e-signature request in E-sign in Approvals. We apologize for the delay in communication and any inconveniences caused.

We are introducing a new Sign Language experience in Teams Meetings to help meeting participants who use sign language to prioritize interpreters and other sign language users so that they remain visible in in a static, central location on the meeting stage, with higher video quality. Specific sign language users inside the organization that you work with regularly – such as regular interpreters – can be prioritized across all meetings by adding them to a prioritized signer list under Settings > Accessibility in the Teams app. Sign language view is a personal, user-level setting, and is visible only for those who have turned it on. It will not be shown to the rest of the meeting participants. The feature is presently available only on Teams Desktop.
Sign Language View addresses three key concerns raised by Deaf/hard of hearing users:

As announced in MC411679 (August ’22) we are retiring “My Activity” feature within the Activity app from Microsoft Teams desktop and web clients.
Activity will now support only activities directed to you (the option to view activities initiated by you will be retired), where we will continue to invest our development resources.

This Breakout Rooms feature enables PSTN participants to be assigned and join breakout rooms. PSTN participants includes dial-in users, dial-out users, and call-me users.
Scenarios supported in this version:

Updated webinar template with a new layout and expanded options to customize registration details and settings specific to the event.
