Teams Rooms on Windows can be configured to encrypt all person-to-person (P2P) calls. The callee must also have encryption setting turned on. When in an encrypted call, both caller and callee can verify encryption key to make sure the call is end to end encrypted and secure.
You can now start transcription for your meetings, and view the meeting transcripts after the meetings on Microsoft Teams for iOS and Android.
This Breakout Rooms for Channel Meetings feature enables meeting organizers to efficiently pre-assign channel members to Breakout Rooms (both auto and manual) ahead of a channel meeting start.
Please note, that Meetings with Breakout Rooms are limited to 300 participants. If the channel contains more than 300 members, pre-assignment will not be available. Meeting organizers will have the ability to assign participants to Breakout Rooms during the meeting.
The Microsoft Teams Meeting LTI app has now enabled users the access to meeting video recordings and attendance reports directly inside their LMS. The feature will be available to use in all of the LMS’ that are incorporating the Teams Meeting LTI app.

With Parent Connection, educators can see the roster of the parents and guardians for their students (info provided by School Data Sync) and initiate a Teams chat with them by a single
click. So now, instead of the twice-yearly parent-teacher conference or
sporadic email, educators and guardians can provide more iterative
updates back and forth through Teams chat to help manage and track their student’s progress.
You will now be able to start a Teams Chat with Distribution Groups, Mail-enabled Security Groups, and O365 Groups. This feature will respect the limits on members in a group chat, currently set to 250 members.
Organizations rely on Distribution Lists (DLs) as a tool to create groups of users that mirror organizational knowledge and workflows. Bringing this awareness to target audiences for specific content will enhance the core Teams experience. Allowing our customers to leverage DLs can increase workflow efficiency and bridge the gap between legacy knowledge of organization structure and a new Teams structure.
Microsoft has now partnered with Open LMS to deliver more seamless integrated learning experiences. Microsoft Teams Meeting LTI and Classes LTI apps are now available within Open LMS. Teams Classes LTI enables Educators to create a Team for their Open LMS course using the roster information of the course. Teams Meeting LTI empowers educators and students to access, schedule, and manage Teams Meetings within the Brightspace LMS.

When joining a meeting in a Microsoft Teams Rooms with a personal laptop running Microsoft Teams, the video galleries on both the Teams Room and laptops will be optimized to display only remote attendees. (Proximity Join with Microsoft Teams Rooms is required).
Share to Teams allows users to share the content from a personal app or tab to other users, groups or channels within Teams. Teams App developers will need to enable the feature within the individual Teams App.
