The New Calendar app, integrating Microsoft Teams and Outlook, will start rolling out in mid-November 2024 for Targeted Release and in mid-January 2025 for General Availability. Users can opt-in to try advanced features for scheduling, meeting creation, and multitasking with no admin action required.
Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android will soon allow admins to configure dual display mode and swap screens remotely, requiring a Teams Rooms Pro license. This update, associated with Roadmap ID 415243, aims to enhance device management and correct reversed display installations. Rollout starts early November 2024, with no admin action needed before then.

You can now insert a hyperlink to your chat message text in fewer clicks. Select the text you want to display and paste the URL, without needing to use the traditional hyperlink dialogue box.
Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android will soon allow admins to receive user-submitted issues via a configured email address. This feature enhances issue triage and response and will be available worldwide and in GCC regions between November and December 2024. It will be off by default.
The new update will allow the users to be able to use the give and take control function during screenshare on web similarly to how the users are used to do on the desktop version of the application.
