Microsoft Teams: Explicit Consent policy for Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365

Microsoft Teams introduces an Explicit Consent policy for user content in meetings, requiring participant agreement for audio and video use in transcription, recording, or Microsoft Copilot. Organizations can enable this policy through the Teams Admin Center. Rollout starts mid-June 2024, with completion by late June 2024.

Keep your Microsoft Teams desktop client compliant by updating it

Microsoft Teams desktop client must be updated to comply with the Modern Lifecycle Policy. Unsupported versions will receive notifications or blocking pages starting June 19th, 2024.
