Take action: October 2023 security update is now available

The October 2023 security update release is now available for Windows 11 and all supported versions of Windows 10. We recommend that you install these updates promptly. Highlights for the Windows 11 update: 
  • This update addresses security issues for your Windows operating system.   
  • To protect against CVE-2023-44487, you should install the latest Windows update. Based on your use case, you can also set the limit of the RST_STREAMS per minute using the new registry keys in this update.
  • This security update includes improvements that were a part of update KB5030310 (released September 26, 2023).

IMPORTANT The October 2023 security update is the last security release for some editions of Windows 11, version 21H2. Windows 11, version 22H2 will continue to receive security and optional releases.
