The new look of Microsoft 365 introduced alongside Windows 11 in June 2021 will become the default look for Windows 11 Subscription and Perpetual 2021 users.

When this will happen:

Preview: Available Now

Standard Release: We will begin rolling late July and expect to complete by early August.

How this will affect your organization:

Users will no longer be able to use Coming Soon to switch back to the old look of Microsoft 365. All Windows 11 subscription and Perpetual 2021 users will receive the updated visuals. Users who used Coming soon to switch back to the old look will be impacted as well.

What you need to do to prepare:

You may consider updating your training and documentation as appropriate.
