New capabilities are here for Test Base for Microsoft 365. It’s a service that allows you to test your applications against Windows feature and quality updates in a Microsoft-managed environment. Starting September 26, 2023, you can test your applications on Windows 11, version 23H2 and you can do so using Custom Image. Join the Test Base community and express your interest in the private preview of two new features: Test Base Chat and testing apps for Windows on Arm.

These enhancements to Test Base for Microsoft 365 are already available.
How this will affect your organization:
The new Test Base capabilities make it easier to test your applications against Windows client and server operating system updates. Whether you’re on or in the process of transitioning to Windows 11, you can confirm your application compatibility with the upcoming update. This additional validation layer will help your organization have a smoother update experience.
What you need to do to prepare:
If you’re on Test Base for Microsoft 365, you can simply start testing your OS baseline against Windows 11, version 23H2 today. Fill out our
survey if you’re interested in the new features in private preview.
