Microsoft 365 Copilot: Updating Recommended section with Copilot prompts
The Recommended section on the Home tab of the Microsoft 365 Copilot app will be updated to include Copilot prompt suggestions for licensed users, enhancing content relevance. Users won’t be able to remove Meeting recordings and Upcoming meetings content. This change will be effective in late April 2025 and requires no admin action.
As part of our ongoing efforts to streamline and enhance user experiences, we are updating the Recommended section on the Home tab of the Microsoft 365 Copilot app. All users will now see more relevant content in the Recommended section. Microsoft 365 Copilot-licensed users will also see Copilot prompt suggestions associated with the content in the Recommended carousel. They will be able to select any of the suggested Copilot prompts to learn more about the content without having to open it.
As we roll out these changes, users will not be able to use the ‘Remove from List’ capability for Meeting recordings and Upcoming meetings content in the Recommended section. This capability will continue to work for other content such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
This change will affect the Web and Windows endpoints of the Microsoft 365 Copilot App.

Microsoft 365 Copilot-licensed users will see contextual Copilot prompts associated with their content in the Recommended section on the Home tab of the Microsoft 365 Copilot app. They can use these prompts to kick-start or continue conversation with Copilot in context of their workflows.
