Outlook will provide consistent access control on protected emails for delegates and shared mailbox members. For delegates or shared mailbox members, when they have full access of the owner’s mailbox but are not allowed to read encrypted email, Outlook will have a new setting to block the owner’s protected email access which covers ad-hoc encrypted email as well as email with protected MIP sensitivity labels.
Apps built for Teams can also run in Outlook now. Outlook users will be able to acquire and use these updated Teams apps (with personal tabs and/or search-based message extensions) without leaving Outlook.
The main modules in Outlook such as email, calendar, tasks, and people are moving to the left of the folder pane. We are also adding a way for users to quickly access To Do, Org Explorer, Yammer Communities, and Bookings directly inside Outlook. You can customize by pinning preferred Outlook and Microsoft 365 apps.
Outlook on the web, and Outlook for iOS and Android are extending support suggested replies in the following languages: Japanese, Thai, and Turkish.

The new Outlook for Mac will automatically shorten links and assign the file name for OneDrive and SharePoint files using the document’s name as URL. With this update you can also see and manage the files’ permissions. Note: Legacy Outlook for Mac won’t receive this update.
,Users will be able to move, copy and create rules to organize messages across different folders in the Groups mailbox. Groups can have folder hierarchy in the Groups section of mail module.
In Outlook on the web, users can select custom colors for their calendar events using hexadecimal values, RBG values, or a color picker control.
Users can add multiple time zones to their calendar in Outlook on the web so they can see how their events stack across those time zones.
Use retention policies in Outlook for Mac to apply a policy to your messages in your mailbox. Retention policies define how long your messages will be saved. This update will only work
in the new Outlook for Mac.
