Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android with a Pro license can join town halls as attendees starting mid-October 2025. In-room participants can join via meeting ID, view captions, chat, and send reactions, enabling shared viewing without individual devices. No admin action is needed; update devices and inform organizers.
Microsoft is retiring legacy Education LTI tools (Teams Assignments, OneDrive, OneNote Class Notebook, Reflect) on September 17, 2026, replacing them with a unified Microsoft 365 LTI tool. Education tenants must transition, update documentation, and notify users; no admin action is needed to remove legacy tools.

With Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), department-specific backup administrators can be assigned, ensuring management control, and tailored backup management aligned to organizational boundaries.
The Aggregate parameter switch returns the folder level aggregated numbers instead of returning details at the item level. You don’t need to specify a value with this switch.
Using this switch significantly reduces the export time. To download the items in a folder, run this cmdlet for specific folders.
When you use this switch with the TagName, TagType and Workload parameters, the command returns the following information:
SiteUlrs: OneDrive and SharePoint.
UPNs: Exchange Online and Teams.
The count of items stamped with that tag.
This feature allows admins to view the attachments of an email inside content explorer.
