Microsoft Teams will let users report messages incorrectly flagged as security threats, available to organizations with Microsoft Defender for Office 365 Plan 2 or Defender XDR. The feature launches in September 2025 (Targeted Release) and November 2025 (General Availability), requiring admin enablement in Teams and Defender portals.

By December 2, 2025, update firewall rules to include new Azure Front Door IP ranges (tagged “AzureFrontDoor.MicrosoftSecurity”) for Microsoft Intune. This ensures uninterrupted device and app management connectivity. Keep existing Intune endpoints and notify your IT/network team to implement these changes.

Microsoft 365 Copilot introduces two new SharePoint Admin Center skills: step-by-step task guidance and multi-variable site search for improved admin efficiency and governance. Available worldwide from October 6-7, 2025, these AI-driven features require a Copilot license and offer enhanced compliance and control via Entra ID.

Microsoft Admin Center will enable admins to manage agent permissions with a unified view of applications, consents, and risk levels. Global Admins grant consent, allowing AI Admin Role to deploy agents. Rollout starts mid-September 2025, improving decision-making, efficiency, and automation for low-risk agents.

Admins can use Windows Autopilot device preparation to provision their Windows 365 Frontline shared devices.

This update will allow agents grounded in SharePoint library contents to use and reason over available metadata to better distinguish between similar documents and provide higher-quality answers.

1. Step-by-Step Task Guidance
Copilot can now walk you through the exact steps required to complete common admin tasks.
Example: “How can I find sites that are potentially over-permissioned?”
What to expect: Copilot will recommend clear, sequential instructions to guide you from start to finish.
2. Multi-Criteria Site Search
Copilot can help you find sites using multiple conditions at once.
Example: “Find sites that have been inactive for more than 60 days and are shared externally.”
What to expect: Copilot will generate a filtered list of sites that meet your criteria and suggest recommended actions.

In product monitoring logs to track all activities related to backup policy configuration & restore related tasks. This will help admins with troubleshooting, monitoring, reporting and auditing capabilities.

In new outlook for windows, users can now apply more than one category to their calendar events from the event right-click context menu. Selected categories will be indicated with a check mark within this menu. This specific update is for applying multiple categories to an event.
