We are introducing a refreshed chat-first design in the Microsoft 365 Copilot mobile app, bringing a cleaner, more intuitive interface to users. This update includes a modernized design language, streamlined navigation, and other improvements that make it easier and faster for users to start, continue, and manage chats on the mobile app.
Multimodal capture enables users to transcribe audio, take images, and type notes in a single session. Copilot then creates a structured Copilot Page with insights and user-captured content, saved to a user-selected Copilot Notebook. Designed for capturing offline work moments—including in-person conversations, whiteboard sessions, and personal notes. Other endpoints coming soon.
Mind Maps in Copilot Notebooks are interactive visual artifacts that help users understand notebook content through a grounded map of key topics, themes, and relationships. Users can explore the Mind Map, view summaries for individual nodes, and use Notebook chat to get more detail about a node. Available across OneNote and Microsoft 365 Copilot App.
Agent 365 is the control plane for AI agents. It empowers IT and security administrators to observe, govern, and secure agents across Microsoft 365 and connected platforms at scale.
Microsoft Fabric’s OneLake introduces storage tiers (hot, cool, cold) and updates operation reporting by including tier names, consolidating proxy/redirect operations, and grouping by workspace in the Capacity Metrics app. Billing rates remain unchanged. Changes start April 1, 2026; item-level details move to OneLake diagnostics.
Microsoft Purview’s Data Security Posture Agent will add a credential scanning feature by mid-2026, using LLM-powered detection to find exposed credentials like Entra ID credentials, private keys, and API tokens. It provides risk scores, AI insights, and a task board for managing findings.
Microsoft Purview’s Data Security Investigations will add a new Audit tab for building audit log queries directly within DSI, automatically surfacing related files. This feature, replacing CSV uploads, rolls out April-May 2026, enabling faster, more accurate investigations for admins and investigators without requiring prior configuration.
Microsoft Purview will simplify Data Security Investigations access by automatically adding the DSI Contributor role to key role groups, effective late April 2026. No action or opt-in is needed, but admins should review role memberships to ensure appropriate access and update documentation if necessary.
SharePoint Advanced Management now lets SharePoint admins delegate Restricted Content Discovery (RCD) control to site admins, who can enable/disable RCD with justification. Delegation is off by default, can be enabled tenant-wide, improving governance and decentralizing content discoverability management. Public preview is available now.
