We’re updating the SharePoint document library experience to more closely align with the user experience in OneDrive – while making it easier than ever before to access the valuable functionality unique to document libraries. When you’re working in a document library, we’ve brought custom views and filters front and center – just like in OneDrive. We’ve also redesigned the command bar to help you take action, faster. All your view customization tools are now grouped under one simplified menu, making it easy to apply conditional formatting or organize items by metadata in seconds.

The Outlook Copilot Chat interface is updated with the navigation pane moved from right to left, aligning with other Microsoft 365 apps. It includes access to agents, conversation history, and a new All Conversations page. The rollout begins mid-August 2025, requires no admin action, and aims to improve usability.
Outlook Mobile will roll out a context-aware Copilot Chat overlay on iOS and Android from September 2025 to March 2026, allowing users with Microsoft 365 Copilot licenses to interact with AI while using email, calendar, and contacts. No action is required; existing controls remain unchanged.
Starting late August 2025, Planner will no longer auto-fill due dates from the “Action By:” field. New tasks require manual or custom-set due dates, offering more flexibility. Existing tasks remain unchanged. No admin action needed; update documentation and automation accordingly.
