In Teams Rooms on Windows, both attendees and presenters for Teams Town halls and webinars can now simultaneously enjoy unique experiences in the same room. This new feature sets the in-room viewing experience on the front of room display to attendee view by default so presenter-specific features, such as the green room and backroom chat, or off-stage presenters are hidden. Presenters in the room can still see their view on the console and manage everything smoothly without distracting the audience. Available in Teams Rooms Pro.

Microsoft Teams is introducing a Shared Spaces Insights feature in the Teams Rooms Pro Management portal, providing IT admins with detailed utilization insights for shared spaces. This feature will be available from July 2025 and requires updating Teams Rooms on Android devices to Admin Agent version 1.0.0.202412110504 or newer.
SharePoint Framework (SPFx) Field Customizers will be retired from SharePoint Lists and Document Libraries on June 30, 2026. Organizations should transition to Column Formatting for visual customizations. Other SPFx extensions will continue to function. There will be no option to extend the use of Field Customizers beyond the retirement date.
Admins can upload custom dictionaries for Microsoft Teams meeting transcripts via the Copilot Settings page in the Microsoft 365 admin center. This feature, requiring a Microsoft 365 Copilot license, enhances transcript accuracy for tenant-specific terms. The rollout starts in late June 2025 and completes by mid-July 2025.
