Outlook: Copilot Prepare for Meeting in Calendar

With so many of us in back-to-back meetings, it can be a real struggle to stay on top of pre-reads, action items, and even what each meeting is about. Copilot can identify and summarize the key points so you can show up prepared in just a few minutes. When you have an upcoming meeting, Copilot proactively shows you a “Prepare” button in your inbox which helps you quickly get context by creating a summary of the meeting and showing and summarizing relevant files, leveraging the power of the Microsoft Graph. Now you have all the most important details you need and can arrive prepared and ready to engage in a productive conversation. Users will soon be able to add multiple emoji reactions to a single message in Microsoft Teams across all platforms. The rollout starts in June 2025 for targeted release and continues through August 2025 for DoD. This feature will be enabled by default, requiring no admin action.

Allow recording and transcription by default in Teams Calling global policy

Non-Native and Hybrid Microsoft Viva Engage (formerly Yammer) Networks are being upgraded

Non-Native and Hybrid Microsoft Viva Engage networks are being upgraded to Native Mode, which aligns with Azure Active Directory and Microsoft 365, offering benefits like hosting Live Events and supporting eDiscovery. Upgrades start December 2022 and continue through December 2024. Some features will be lost, but alternatives are provided. Organizations can self-initiate migration or allow Microsoft to manage it.
