Call Waiting Beep, a feature providing a tone for incoming calls during active calls, will be available on Desktop and Mobile. Rollout starts early June 2025 and completes mid-June 2025. Users must enable it in Teams Settings on Desktop, while it’s default on Mobile. Update training and documentation accordingly.
OneDrive will prompt users with a personal Microsoft account on a Windows device to sign into OneDrive with their personal account while using their corporate OneDrive. This feature rolls out from mid-June to early July 2025. Organizations can suppress the prompt using specific policies.
Microsoft Viva Learning will introduce Auto-Save and Draft modes for learning paths in May 2025. These features require a Viva Learning Premium or Viva Suite license. Changes will be saved automatically, with updates to published paths saved as drafts until published. No admin action is required.
Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management will enhance user scoping features in policies, rolling out globally from late June to early July 2025, and for GCC, GCC High, and DoD from early October to early November 2025. Admins can select users, groups, and adaptive scopes for policies. No action is required before the rollout.
Starting June 2025, Microsoft 365 administrators can set up pay-as-you-go billing for SharePoint Agents via the Copilot Control System. Admins must disable legacy tenant-level billing, create new billing policies, and connect these policies to SharePoint Agents for departmental chargeback and billing.
Microsoft Viva Insights will soon introduce the Skills landscape report in the advanced insights app, available via Power BI. This report helps analysts and leaders understand People Skills data, browse skills, and explore skills distribution and hierarchy. Public preview starts in late June 2025, with general availability in late July 2025. A relevant license is required.
