The document snapshot helps the user focus faster by surfacing the most important information for them based on their personal context.
When multiple camera views are enabled in Teams Rooms on Windows, the preview video on the front-of-room display and the camera settings dialog will show multiple camera views. This feature allows in-room users to be aware of all camera streams that are simultaneously streaming to remote users. This feature is available with the Teams Rooms Pro license.
We are announcing a testing framework for desktop flows in Microsoft Power Automate for desktop. This feature will reach general availability on July 30, 2025.
Copilot in Teams admin center is available in Public Preview, rolling out from June to July 2025. Admins with a Microsoft 365 Copilot license will automatically have access, enabling natural language management of Teams and Microsoft 365 settings. No additional licensing or action is required, but access can be disabled or restricted via security groups.
A new Intune policy allows admins to set the priority order for SMIME certificate lookup in Outlook mobile, enhancing control and security. Rolling out on August 29, 2025, it is off by default. Group-less campaigns in Viva Amplify simplify campaign creation by removing the need for Microsoft 365 Groups or Teams channels. This update, rolling out from late June to mid-July 2025, offers simplified setup, faster performance, and reduced management overhead. No action is required unless updating internal documentation.
Microsoft Viva Amplify is transitioning from App tokens to Protected Forwarded Tokens (PFTs) for enhanced security. This change limits publication scheduling to 30 days in advance and affects token validity, requiring users to reschedule if tokens expire. No admin action is required, but documentation updates are recommended.
New Microsoft Teams notifications for Microsoft Copilot Academy users will inform them about new courses starting late June 2025. Requires Teams, Viva Learning, and Microsoft 365 Copilot licenses.
