New enforcement to block access from unauthorized Microsoft 365 tenants directly in Microsoft Edge for Business, helping organizations maintain strict compliance and prevent data leakage across tenant boundaries.

Microsoft Entra ID will enhance authentication security by enforcing a Content Security Policy that blocks external script injection, allowing only trusted Microsoft scripts. This rollout begins mid-October 2026, affecting browser-based sign-ins on login.microsoftonline.com, with no impact on Entra External ID tenants.

Auto Archiving for Exchange Online automatically moves oldest mailbox items to archive when usage exceeds 96%, preventing mail flow disruption. Enabled by default, it applies to mailboxes with archives, respects “Never Move to Archive” tags, and allows admin adjustments or disabling. Rollout starts January 2026.

New Microsoft Secure Score recommendations for Microsoft Defender for Endpoint will roll out from late November to mid-December 2025, adding actions like disabling Remote Registry Service on Windows. Available to Microsoft 365 E5 or Defender for Endpoint Plan 2 customers, admins should review and implement these to enhance security.
