Microsoft Viva Insights: New prompt categories in the Microsoft Copilot Dashboard

New prompt categories will be added to the Microsoft Copilot Dashboard in Microsoft Viva Insights, including “Ask and find,” “Catch up,” “Draft and brainstorm,” and “Other.” These updates will be available by late July 2025, with no admin action required. Review and update internal documentation as needed.

Microsoft Exchange Online: New Message Trace will be GA; legacy Message Trace will retire

The new Message Trace in Microsoft Exchange Online will be generally available from mid-June to late July 2025, with the legacy Message Trace retiring on September 1, 2025. Admins should transition to the new experience and update scripts using new cmdlets by August 31, 2025. No immediate admin action is required.

Microsoft Viva Engage: Manage GDPR requests through the Engage admin center

Admins can now manage GDPR data subject requests directly in the Microsoft Viva Engage admin center, with the feature renamed from “Remove User” to “Manage GDPR data subject requests.” This change will be rolled out from late June 2025 to late July 2025, affecting both the web and Teams platforms. No admin action is required before the rollout.

Microsoft Teams Premium branding will now include town halls and webinars, enhancing brand experiences. This feature requires a Teams Premium license and applies to Teams on various platforms. Microsoft 365 Copilot app for iOS and Android: Agent Store will be available

Microsoft 365 Copilot app for iOS and Android will introduce the Agent Store, allowing users to acquire agents directly from the mobile app starting late June 2025. A Microsoft 365 Copilot license is required. This update will be automatic, and agents will respect admin policies. Notify users and update documentation accordingly.

Updates available for Microsoft 365 Apps for Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel

When this will happen:

We’ll be gradually rolling out this update of Microsoft 365 Apps to users on that update channel starting June 11th, 2025 (PST).

How this will affect your organization:

If your Microsoft 365 Apps clients are configured to automatically update from the Office Content Delivery Network (CDN), then no action is required.

If you manage updates directly you can now download this latest update and begin deployment.

How to configure RBAC for Windows Autopatch

Start by enforcing least privilege access with the new Windows Autopatch administrator and the Windows Autopatch reader roles.
