Microsoft Teams is enhancing peripheral health reporting in the Pro Management portal for BYOD spaces. This allows admins to monitor and address device issues proactively. Enhanced presenter capabilities for Teams Rooms on Windows in Microsoft Teams Town Halls will allow assigned rooms to start/end events, manage attendee views, and promote attendees to presenters. Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat in Edge will soon be able to answer contextual questions about a user’s open window. This extends the existing capability which can only access the open page. All existing user settings and policies and DLP considerations will continue to be respected.
This feature introduces admin controls for managing AI agents on a consumption basis within Microsoft 365 Copilot. Administrators can specify which users can access particular agents through pay-as-you-go, control which agents are available for metered consumption, and establish billing policy for each agent. Initially focusing on declarative agents in M365 Copilot Chat and SharePoint, this enhancement enables organizations to effectively manage AI consumption costs and scale intelligent capabilities according to business needs.
