Admins will be able to manage the availability of Microsoft 365 certified apps in Teams based on rules for enhanced security. This feature will be on by default and will roll out from mid-July to early August 2025. No action is required before the rollout, but review current configurations and notify users.
Microsoft Outlook for Android will allow users to assign and remove categories from emails, view categories in the message list and reading pane, and filter messages by category. This feature will roll out from mid-June to mid-July 2025 and requires no admin action.
TLS 1.1 and earlier versions will no longer be supported for Fabric Platform connections to customer data sources after July 31, 2025. Ensure all systems use TLS 1.2 or later. For more details, refer to the blog post [here](https://blog.fabric.microsoft.com/en-US/blog/tls-deprecation-for-fabric/).
This is an update for the previous Message Center Post about Dataverse search sent out on March 6th, 2025 (to most regions) and April 8th, 2025 (to GCC and GCC High regions), where it was mentioned that the change would result in an increase in consumption of Dataverse storage capacity for database and file storage on April 7th, 2025 (for most regions) and May 12th, 2025 (for GCC and GCC High regions).

Admins can access the new Message Trace and its capabilities by default when navigating to the Exchange admin center > Mail flow > Message Trace. Admins can also leverage the new Message Trace PowerShell cmdlets Get-MessageTraceV2 and Get-MessageTraceDetailV2. We have added key improvements such as support to query up to 90 days of historical data for message trace summary report (near real-time query), subject search capability, and more.
With this feature, you can reduce clicks and save time with intelligent call transfer suggestions based on your recent activity and call history on Teams phone devices.
Automatic spelling and grammar checking when composing an email message. Corrections are underlined on the draft, and clicking on them reveals suggested corrections.
When composing a message in the new Outlook for Windows and Outlook on the web, there will be a new Graphics button under the Insert ribbon tab. This opens a panel that will allow users to search and pick from a large selection of emoji, stock photos, and stickers, which are inserted into the message when selected. #newoutlookforwindows
Admins can proactively manage peripherals in bring your own device (BYOD) rooms and desks with reports in the Pro Management portal that now flag if devices are faulty, undetectable by a PC, missing, or moved. Reports in the Pro Management portal require a Teams Shared Devices license for the room, and reports for desks are in public preview.
