Microsoft Purview | Data Loss Prevention: Admin units support for Microsoft SharePoint Online (preview)

Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention will soon support adding SharePoint sites to administrative units. Public Preview starts late April 2025, and General Availability begins mid-June 2025. Admins can configure this by default, but only the All-sites option will be supported. No admin action is required before the rollout.

Microsoft Copilot Studio – Configure triggers with end user credentials for seamless event driven automation

We are announcing a new way to configure triggers within Copilot Studio. This feature will allow you to create an agent with a trigger and actions that can be shared with multiple users, where each user can provide their own credentials to trigger the agent. This ensures the agent is secure and easy to manage and use. This feature will reach general availability on June 2, 2025.

New Microsoft Outlook for Windows and Outlook for the web: Jump to a message in the message list

New Microsoft Outlook for Windows and Outlook for the web will soon allow users to type text to jump to specific messages in the message list. This feature will roll out from early May 2025 to mid-June 2025 and will be enabled by default. No admin action is required.

Microsoft Outlook: Updated behavior for switching back from new Outlook to classic Outlook for Windows

Microsoft will update the behavior for switching between new and classic Outlook for Windows. Starting mid-May 2025, new Outlook will stay minimized when switching back to classic Outlook. From early June 2025, users can open classic Outlook without leaving new Outlook. This change requires no admin action and will be automatic.

Microsoft Outlook: We are retiring the Sports Calendar feature

Microsoft is retiring the Sports Calendar feature in Outlook from early June 2025 to mid-June 2025. Users will no longer be able to add or update sports calendars. As an alternative, users can manually subscribe to sports calendars using the “Subscribe from web” feature in Outlook.
