This feature enables policy tips for recipients when emailed as part of a group. DG expansion refers to the process of expanding Distribution Groups (DG) to ensure all recipients are evaluated for Data Loss Prevention (DLP) rules. This feature allows organizations to evaluate rules based on recipients contained in distribution groups, increasing the confidence that users will receive relevant warnings while drafting emails with sensitive content.

Currently you can create Purview Endpoint DLP policy and assign to specific users or user groups. This feature will allow you to create and release feature based on both users and machines. You can use this feature to achieve different policies for same user on different devices.
